Timanaya

One of the many demonstrations held by the 'El Diablo' Restaurant of 'how hot' the area is. The temperatures are said to be in excess of 200°C just a few metres below the surface. Hence, water poured into a bore hole erupted seconds later in the form of steam up to a height of some 10m - like a mini-geyser.
